School Holiday Program
Book now for Dec/Jan School Holiday Program as this program books out every term, so make sure you book early to avoid dissapointment. The holiday program runs Mon-Sun and is fully flexible, so Kids can do half a day or the whole week. This gives young riders a chance to benefit from a good period of riding which is often what's required to take it to the next level. The Holiday Program also gives busy parents a chance to catch a breather, or they are more than welcome to stay and join in the fun! On the first Saurday of every month Merchiston Warmbloods is proud to offer personal lessons with FEI Dressage rider and coach Tracy Lee. Tracy has competed at the higest levels and offers a great opportunity for riders who want to develop or fine tune their riding before competition. About Renegade Z
A top class show jumper with amazing ability, technique and shape over the fences, Renegade Z boasts an impressive list of European ancestors. His sire Ramiro was successfully jumped in international shows by Fritz Ligges, and is one of the status symbols of European show jumping breeding. His dam,Quita Z, was sired by Quidam de Revel. This anglo-norman sire (by Jalisco B v Alme Z) is the most successful international sire known. Quidam de Revel represented his home country France at the Olympic Games and won several Grand Prix under the Danish rider Thomas Velin. In his third generation one will find the superlative stallion Cor de la Bryere, without whom the Holstein line would not have been what it is today.
Renegade Z successfully passed his 30 day test in Neustadt-Dosse, achieving the highest score in show jumping. He won several Class A and L competitions in Germany before being brought to Australia to stand at stud where his progeny have already begun to cause a stir amongst breeders. Now in new ownership, our thanks goes to Joanne Everly and Sheree Martin of Warmbloods at Stud for their enterprise in bringing this quality stallion to Australia.

Progeny
Renegade's progeny are outstanding, and in Europe they are already chalking up performances at the highest level. Red Classic was accepted into the 2006 Vechta Elite auction, while Ruswil – among other achievements – is a British Young Horse Championship winner at Hickstead, the Holy Grail of British showjumping (see YouTube links for Ruswil at Hickstead, Antwerp and Lummen). Renegade's first foal crop arrived in Australia during the 07/08 season and caused a sensation, and there is no doubt that they will emulate their European counterparts once they are appearing on the competition circuit. All are remarkable for their correctness and athleticism as well as their fabulous temperaments, ensuring that they will excel in any discipline.
